These photographs are part of a personal project about capturing the soul of some relevant contemporary buildings in Madrid. This time we chose the new Telefonica Headquarters by Rafael de la Hoz, as it has been one of the most important projects built in Spain during the last 10 years.
The objective was taking elegant minimalistic pictures of this enormous complex. Specially significant are the glass facades of the 4 main towers. We chose a “sun and clouds” day to “texturize” those glazings. Also the use of ND filters to shoot at very slow speeds was really helpful.
Simple and elegant contrasty B&W photographs that depicts the monumental and technological spirit of this building.
